World Social Forum, platform that has pop up in 3rd world countries as a reaction on well known World Ecomonical Forum where ritch north is making up future. This platform is dealing with various social trobles at several sectors. 2004 edition was held in Bombay. Some of the themes were: Demokracy in Burma, Demokracy in Nepal, multinational corporation influence, imperialismus, war in Irak, Women empowerment in India, Untouchables in India, IMF influence, Controversial dam construction etc. Whole this forum is calling up for communication and opinions sharing such would lead to problem solutions. From my point of view it had learnt people their rights situation and how they can defend themselfes. Mostly the problem is that those who are exploiting those who are weak are just benefiting on their lack of knowlegde and right consciousness.
